“Isobel Pellow as Costume Designer has pulled and created exquisite pieces for each of the characters. From Olivia’s sharp suit to Aguecheek’s silly one and a particularly hilarious onesie for Malvolio, each piece is perfectly fitting for the person and the world.” London Theatre Reviews
“Isobel Pellow’s natty costumes, featuring Oxford bags, striped jackets and elegantly cut dresses, are a highlight, capturing the languid glamour of the interwar, idle rich like a Noël Coward play.” The Stage
“As is the case with so much Shakespeare these days, the play is set in another era; this time the 1930s. This allows costume designer Isobel Pellow a free rein, with some lovely period dress, such as Sir Andre Aguecheek's outrageous Henley striped suit and straw boater and Feste's gangster-looking outfit with fedora and spats.” Broadway World

“But it is Isobel Pellow’s costumes – when combined with Florencia Melone’s beautiful wigs – that really stand out. Every costume, from Brie’s tabard to Lady Von Fistenburg’s evening gown is perfect for the character wearing it.” Terry Eastham, LondonTheatre1

“Isobel Pellow is the clever mind behind the nifty costume choices: with everything from power and authority for Gila, through to a pair of cut-off jeans that make Pete look like he just stepped out of ‘Magic Mike’.” Britishtheatre.com

A transformative costume based on the story of The Governor’s Wife in The Caucasian Chalk Circle. The costume’s changing silhouette narrated this character’s reversal of fortune, loss of status, and revealing of self at a particular moment in the text.
